VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE BIKE MONTH BIKE AND TRAIL FESTIVAL. CONTACT 385-7431 IF YOU CAN HELP.

Parks Initiative. The Colorado Springs Parks, Recretaion and Cultural Services Department is soliciting input on your experience with dogs off leash or with aggressive dogs. They want to quantify the problem and then look at specific actions needed to mitigate the problem. : E-mail them:

Local ordinances require dogs to be leashed on city and county trails and in the parks unless they are in a designated off-leash area. Dog owners are also required to remove dog waste.

With the nicer weather, more people are hitting our trails and open spaces, but so are the thieves! Reminder: Lock your cars and take your valuables with you (or leave them at home).

Organizations and Agencies. Please let us know of any trail building projects you have planned for this year. We will post a consolidated schedule on our website.

Check out the ride and hike at Chico Basin Ranch on May 17. It's a rare opportunity to visit the ranch. It's a Day of Adventure on the Prairie.
